Great Room, But VAT Invoice Issues

I recently stayed at the Fallow Field in Telford and while the room itself was comfortable, I encountered a few issues that affected my experience. I booked through Hotels.com and chose the ‘pay at property’ option, but the hotel charged my card a day before arrival, which was quite inconvenient since it was the wrong card. Additionally, I requested a VAT invoice at check-in and was told it could only be issued at check-out. Since I checked out early in the morning before the front desk opened, I was advised to request it later via message. Unfortunately, despite multiple messages over two weeks, I have not received any response or the VAT invoice. This lack of communication and failure to provide a VAT invoice is disappointing.

Bed was comfy , room was cool, bathroom shower good, didnt have food , but pub stopped serving at 21.30 but behind the hotel is a garage with a subway and there own food.

Really nice hotel, staff where lovely, meals were spot on ,lovely air-conditioned rooms as it was really hot the week a stayed ,definitely a 10/10 for me at this marston pub

Great stay , comfy beds . Love the pub . Nice food . Would love an overnight free car charge for electric vehicles. The fast charge bumps the price up quite a bit . This is the second stay we’ve had here and would book again same time next year . Easy and good prices

Room was next to the lane for the Burger King drive through, there was a refrigerated trailer outside the window which was running 24/7 so couldn’t open the window due to noise. Trying to sleep was impossible Very disappointed.
