Rooms were clean and comfortable and the food and drinks are very good. The beach access is great and is only steps away from the pool, which was also great. This hotel is labeled as a two star hotel but can easily be a three star hotel with a few updates and more maintenance done to the property. The road to get there is a little rough since it’s not paved but any car can get through. There are usually dancing kids with mask on at the main road that will stand in front of your car and dance to try to get some charity but no obligation either keep driving slowly and they will move or if your feeling generous help them out. Overall we had a great time at the property with my family of 6.

Great location and aesthetic rooms, but with severe utility failures. ​The hotel has strong points regarding its visual appeal and location, but the overall experience was seriously hindered by basic maintenance issues. ​The Good: The rooms are very clean, beautiful, well-painted, and nicely decorated. The A/C units work optimally and have no bad odors. Additionally, the proximity to the sea is excellent, and the pool is quite spacious (7/10 in terms of cleanliness). ​The Bad: Although the room was for 6 people, the provided coffee maker only had a capacity for 3 or 4 cups. The curtains were in poor condition, detaching from the track, which prevented them from being moved. While the general beach area looks clean, nearby spots accumulate plastic pollution and debris. The bathrooms, despite looking clean, had a persistent unpleasant smell. ​The Critical: The stay failed severely regarding basic utilities: we lost electricity on Friday night and for almost the entire day on Saturday. Furthermore, the water supply was cut off on two separate occasions during our stay. ​There is potential due to the facilities and room aesthetics, but technical maintenance and backup for essential services must improve drastically.

Nice location, clean and pristine beach front and landscape views. Ideal for short-term stays for a weekend (partnered, family or group). Quit, calm and comfort surroundings. Excellent restaurant and bar with varied menu, but they close early (8pm). Condos seems outdated and need some maintenance, but in average their great. It'll be nice to get some refreshments while doing check-in and have some room amenities (water, coffee and/or tea) as a nice treat and enhance the experience in Playa Escondida. In general, our stay was nice and we will return.

This is my second time to this hotel. The first time was 7 years ago and it was very good. But this time it was very bad, no internet, no cell phone signal. Also, you could cook in the apartment before, but now there is nothing, the kitchen is just for decoration.

Very poorly maintained we arrived 2 hours after check in time and room was partially ready no towels, shampoo or soap. No staff around to help, all curtains have mold, bathrooms not clean. The property is beauriful but needs upgrade, proper maintenance. In the pictures they show stove therefore the villas have no stoves.

The property was not ready when we got there. There was no soap in the washrooms. The pool at our villa was not clean.The washrooms walls and doors were not clean. The hotel is not ready for a blackout as we had one and the hotel did not have a generator to fix the problem and also the water stopped working because there was not electricity. We had to leave very early the next day because we couldn't use the washrooms. I tried to contact the management regarding the issue but I couldn't get any answers.

The road to enter the hotel is horrible and during the day, the people from the nearby community try and close the entrance to the road and charge a fee to enter. The actual 2 bedroom is nice and spacious. However, the wifi did not work at all. I had to work and had absolutely no service. We dined at the hotel restaurant and our food did not come out till 2 hours later- the waiters never asked us if we were ok, or if we wanted something else they only came back when the food was ready. Also the tip was already included in the check which I did not agree with since they did absolutely nothing.The following morning there was no water- so we missed our tour that we paid for because it was 6 of us wanting to get ready. In the AM we went back to the hotel restaurant for breakfast and something was wrong with their POS and she told me I could only pay with cash or bank transfer ( I am not Honduran) and when I told her I only had my card she asked me what was I going to do about this as if It was a problem with me and not the hotel. The hotel did nothing to accommodate or show any kind of customer service. As mentioned the only good thing was the actual room- the service is atrocious.

En general todo estuvo muy bien, el inconveniente fue que reservamos la habitacion con tres dormitorios con vista al mar, y estaba en el tercer piso. No hay elevador, y habian personas mayores que no podian subir gradas. Inmediatamente, Jairo nos ayudo y nos acomodaron en dos habitaciones. Todo el personal fue muy amable, en recepcion, bar por la playa, guardias y Jairo quien siempre nos aconsejaba adonde ir. El acceso a la playa magnifico, la piscina con vista al infinito muy relajante. las bebidas y comida deliciosos. A mi hija la sorprendieron con un cocted gratis por su cumpleanos. Si regresariamos a disfrutar de este lugar. Gracias a todos.
