We loved our stay at the Cliffden. It’s perfectly located for train travellers and it’s a short walk through the beautiful and extensive grounds to the sea front and the town centre. The friendly staff were exceptionally helpful and the freshly renovated swimming pool was the jewel in their crown.

Very lovely hotel, great location, all staff were excellent, friendly and done a great job. Unfortunately for us, and as I have reduced mobility, the lift was not operating, being on the second floor was a bit tricky, but we managed also we had a partial sea view, so I didn't won't to change, the staff would have helped if we had asked. The grounds were fabulous and had pretty much direct access to the beach. The swimming pool was lovely, however a bit shallow for adults to have a good swim, but very safe for children. Overall a really great weekend away, thanks.

The hotel was in a great location. We were a group of 7 Gentlemen Golfers and we stayed in the Hotel for 4 nights. The staff were brilliant, the breakfast was hearty and filling. We enjoyed "chilling" in the indoor swimming pool. Although we did not have a dog with us, it may be helpful to know that the hotel is dog friendly. The gardens of the hotel were exceptional, and you walked through them for easy access to the beach and Town. I would recommend a stay at the Cliffden hotel.
