I had a very relaxing stay at the well-appointed lodging. The newly installed pool was a pleasant and welcomed surprise, especially since it wasn't listed at the time of booking. Upon arrival, guests are greeted and escorted to their rooms. The onsite restaurant and staff were wonderful, and despite the current expansion happening on the grounds, we had an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The eco-friendly toiletries provided were a nice touch. Conveniently located next to the Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve, which we were able to see from our room, is a nice stop, as the other sights are hours drive away. There are a few restaurants located within walking distance from the residence. However, please note that the walk down several steep streets to the downtown area is not easy, especially in the heat. It takes about 20 minutes, and requires a climb back up to the residence, so it's not suitable for everyone. If you prefer, you can take a cab from the welcome center to the downtown area for around $10 BZE.There are a few restaurants located within walking distance from the residence. The staff is absolutely amazing. The pools are very nice, the food was excellent. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Staff are attentive and helpful. Property provides many amenities and options for touring around the San Ignatio area. If I find myself coming back to San Ignatio I would strongly consider staying at Mystic River again.
