Tbilisi Old Town Apartments

I spent 6 days at the apartment and would highly recommend it. The apartment itself is in the Sololaki region on the SW edge of the city. It is about 10-15 minute walk from Freedom Square. The building itself is an old-town house and currently undergoing renovation. The entry from the street is via an old entrance door and the apartment is on the first floor. It has secure entry locks etc. The apartment itself is spacious and well fitted with large TV, good quality kitchen items, etc. There is a double room on the main floor and then a second double bed in a kind-of loft space. All in all, I was very impressed with the apartment. It is very close to several good quality shops (e.g. Spar supermarket) and very good coffee bar / bakery. The owners kept in good contact and met me at the airport for a modest fee (cheaper than a taxi). Also took me back to airport for return flight. Very pleasant and helpful guys!

When standing outside the apartment waiting to be let in, I received a text message telling me that it was double-booked. There was no apology or offer of help, so I was left standing on the street at 8pm. Very, very poor.

우리는 호텔은 좁아서 답답해 싫고 한국음식 마음껏 만들어 먹어도 좋고 넓어서 서로 방해하지 않고 편히 쉴수있는 이런 아파트형 호텔을 선호합니다 이 아파트는 자유광장,갤러리아에서 가까우며 루스타밸리 거리에서 약간 언덕으로 올라오는 곳에 위치해 있습니다 트빌리시 시내를 둘러보는데 걸어서 다 가능한 지역입니다 같은 건물의 옆라인이 대부분이 호텔로 사용하고 있어서 주변에 식당.여행사.카페등이 있어 편리합니다 다만 주소가 대표로 나와 있는곳은 자유광장 매리어트 코트바이야드 옆건물인데 실제 머무는곳은 다를수있습니다 우리는 5 taras로 시작하는 곳에 머물었습니다 예약시 꼭 주소를 확인하세요 호스트와는 매리어트에서 만나 머무는 주소로 가는 시스템입니다 트빌리시 도착하면 호텔로부터 받은 메일을 확인해서 본인이 도착하는 시간을 반드시 알려줘야 만남이 편하게 이루어집니다 우린 다음메일을 사용해서 메일 주고받기가 불편했습니다 구글 지메일등 국제적인 메일을 사용하는것이 연락하기가 쉽습니다 아파트구조나 덜컹 철문이 닫히는 엘레베이터나 오래전 영화에서 본듯한 아파트에서 보내 또다른 재미를 느꼈습니다
