It was a perfectly comfortable stay, had a lovely clean room and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The pictures pre booking were somewhat deceiving though, the reception area looked nothing like the photos and the immediate vicinity of the hotel was run down

I would not recommend this hotel. The location is very inconvenient — it’s on a steep uphill road that makes access difficult, even for taxis. The staff weren’t exactly rude, but they also weren’t particularly friendly or helpful either. The hotel lacks many basic amenities you would expect: no tissues, no complimentary water bottles upon arrival, no iron, no extra toilet paper, no clean replacement sheets, and not even a telephone to contact reception. For the price, this felt very disappointing. The overall atmosphere is confusing. It calls itself a hotel, but in many ways it doesn’t feel like one. The reception and entrance area feel more like a small apartment building, a family-run motel, or even a hostel, rather than a proper hotel. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and proper hotel services, this place is not it.

The hotel is very quiet and close to the old town without being in the centre of all the noise. The breakfast had a range of bread, meats, and cheeses which was a nice start to the day. The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant.

Communication with the hotel prior to arrival was exceptional. The hotel staff showed great kindness and were highly accommodating, making me feel welcomed and valued as part of their family. The location is excellent, just steps away from the Old Town. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and completely quiet from external noise, featuring a comfortable bed, mini-fridge, and kettle. Breakfast was outstanding-fresh, delicious, and offered a commendable variety. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and sincerely appreciate the effort made to make my visit to Tbilisi so special! The hotel is very clean with new and comfortable furniture. It has a calm, family-friendly atmosphere, making it perfect for a quiet stay. Breakfast is simple but sufficient and fair for the price. The location is excellent — close to shopping areas and city attractions, which made getting around Tbilisi easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended for those looking for a clean, peaceful stay at a reasonable price.

We ended up staying at this property for 7 days and it's absolutely excellent! About 6-min walk to Opera House & main road (longer back to the hotel since it's uphill for the whole 3 4 blocks). 17-min easy walk to old town (we normally walked there to enjoy the shops, eateries & sceneries, and took shared rides $3 back to the hotel late at night). Staff are absolutely fabulous, very friendly & helpful. Definitely would stay here next time we're in Tbilisi.

It was our first hotel upon arriving to Tbilisi for first time. Communication with the hotel before arrival was smooth. Value for price is ok. Rooms are not big - it is few houses combined together to create an hotel - this we learn later is common in Georgia. Pictures of the place are somewhat misleading as the "garden" is just small backyard. Breakfast was SUPERB and plentiful. No amenities. Internet ok. Location is perfect - easy to get to all main attractions.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Knara. It was conveniently located, just a minute's walk to the central attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. Our favorite part of the stay was the delicious breakfast made by the host. The staff was very helpful and the hosts were gracious. Maya went above and beyond to assist us, and her sincerity was truly appreciated. We will definitely come back for another visit. Just a note for those with mobility issues, the hotel is located on a slight incline, so it may not be the best option for those who have difficulty walking uphill.

Super staff - good Hotel

Most impressive and above everything else was the super warm, homely and friendly staff at the property. You rarely find such personalised hospitality even in 5 star luxury hotels. The location is central but a steep climb if you plan to walk. We recommend taking taxi as its not so expensive in Georgia. The rooms are ok for the price, sufficiently clean and basic. They do have mini refrigerator, water kettle and Television, a plus is they have airco, useful in Summer. Breakfast although limited is very homely (fine for the price). Overall 10/10 for the service, 7/10 on property.

The staff was wonderful. It was very convenient to get around the city from there. I had some specific things I needed to do in the city. I was having trouble, and the staff made it easier for me by making some calls for me. They had a good breakfast and a clean room.
