Misleading pictures and reviews. Bed sheets had stains. Bath area was not clean. Power outage but apologies from the host. I would not stay here again.

Dawn and the whole staff were fantastic. The whole island was set up for us to use at all times.

We had a lovely stay at Geckos. The room was clean and food was good, and the massages were especially good. The staff were overall helpful. It is best to hire a car or be prepared for a few taxi trips as the resort is a bit isolated, and be aware that restaurant opening hours are limited. A walk to the nearest swimming beach is possible but not very easy.

When we first arrived, we were told that though we booked two rooms, two of the same kind were not available so they would be on opposite ends of the property. Considering one must drive to the self contained villas (what we actually booked), this was not going to work for us. Eventually, we were given a different room type so that we could have two rooms together however - initially they said it cost more, but it did not. Then, we found stains all over the sheets (blood and other things). There were no towels in one of the rooms, they did bring them up but they also had lots of stains. We called reception about the sheets and the emergency number but none work - guess they are unreachable after 10pm no matter what. The water view from our room was nice. The pool looked nice but we didn’t stick around to try it out. The fire dancing show sched for previous evening was cancelled due to some filming that was going on. The complimentary boat tour is now $20fjd pp. Dinner was decent, the chow mein was really good. Little over priced for what we got. Breakfast was a little weak (no options for my kid) but scrambled eggs and toast is enough for most. Overall, I would not stay here again but the staff that served us in restaurant and ran up and down hills to show us the rooms was really great. Reception was not as helpful but it was fine.

We had a great experience! 3 couples with small children, the kids and adults had the best time, the place is not crowded at all so you feel like the place is all for yourself. Sai, iovani, Wi, Bill, Aki, the male waiters in the morning and the evening, the kitchen staff and housekeeping, all offered great service, super friendly, and they sing for guests at dinner time, such good singers!!!! the tents have everything you need, we had one right by the water felt such a luxury. There is great snorkeling reef right in front of the place, the pool was great too, best place we stayed in Fiji. The only thing I don't recommend is the island hopping tour, the staff is great and super friendly but the actual tour is not good you dont get much time in each island, and they dont include the snorkling gear, not worth it as the beach at the glamping is as good or better, doesn't add any value and it is expensive.
