Disappointing accommodation in Cameron Highlands

Pros: Well maintained, peaceful gardens.
Cons: Guest room need total refurbishment and modernising.
Location: Easy to visit the various towns in the Cameron Highlands. Would recommend you go on a day tour to visit tea plantations, strawberry farms etc.
A visit to the Cameron Highlands had been on my 'wishlist' for several years. I purposely chose this property because of its connection to colonial England. The property looks pretty from the outside and the gardens are well maintained. Our room was most disappointing. It was extremely cold, no heating was provided and the room is badly in need of refurbishment. The bathroom is antiquated and poorly maintained. We had one bland Indian tali dinner and breakfast there. Overall, an underwhelming experience.
