Not family friendly

It was a party hotel with loud music playing at the pool till after 9 pm. We arrived back at hotel on Friday night after 9 pm and couldn’t find any parking at all due to night club attached to hotel. There were drug deals going down as we drove around hotel looking. Then as we tried to sleep we could hear conversations and other activities going on through the walls. We left on Saturday as it was not a hotel appropriate for young children.

Roaches and poor service

Our room was filled with roaches. We found 3 while we were there. The overnight service was terrible, I asked for towels one night after requesting them at 10am and never receiving them and the night time front desk had an attitude, was cursing about how he had to do more work because people don’t do there f*****g job. Then told me not to tell anyone he had towels so we Wouldn’t have to go look for more.

Our room did not look at all like what was pictured on the website. It had teeny pillows, no headboard, smelled of smoke, had dirt and stains in the bathroom, the shades were broken and it was very noisy. Resembled a low budget motel….not worth half of what we paid.

Room had rusty towel racks, smoke detectors covered in dust and cob webs, keys rarely worked even when they did not come in contact with any electronics. No elevators which made second floor not easily accessible with all the luggage we had. None of the tv services would work on the last night. Couldn’t add food to your bill from the front desk had to pay upfront.

This was a very basic stay but we were not super happy to find out there were no doors on the bathroom and no rooms that had them. I’ve never had to consider that outside of Europe! The staff was great and service was very good! The rooms, amenities like the pool and gym were not fully working or lacked supplies (towels, wet wipes for the gym). The housekeeping still aggressively knocked on the door even though we had the privacy door knob sign on. There were some questionable guests as well. Overall I don’t think we’d be staying here again. It was cheap so we can understand why it was the way it was!
