Mariela & Sergio are absolutely amazing hosts! From the moment I came in they made me feel so welcome as I was visiting family, the stay is wonderful - right outside tamarindo which is nice because it’s less quiet. The property is beautiful and well designed as they are artists and have decorated the property beautifully. They provide everything I needed from beach towels to chairs and everything you could need during your stay! If you are thinking about booking this place you will not regret it. Felt like I left as part of the family after leaving, thanks again so much for such a great stay! Till next time , Pura Vida

Sergio and Mariela are amazing. The house is beautiful. The stay was relaxing. I was not at all expecting to make new friends but these guys treated me like an old friend coming in for a visit. They gave me lots of recommendations and info. We even went out on the town together a couple of times. I’ll stay with them on every future visit.

Fabulous stay!!

From the moment we booked our stay with our hosts, they were communicative and so helpful. They answered our questions about the anrea, and provided lots of informative travel tips. When we arrived, the property was absolutely beautiful, with lushly landscaped tropical plants, a soaking pool to cool off, and a well equipped outdoor kitchen. They were so kind and gracious. Our hosts suggested restaurants, activities, and destinations, many of which we did. They were all wonderful. Our room was spacious, super clean, and very comfortable. As a bonus, there is a troop of howler monkeys that lives in the forest across the street. Several times in the morning and at dusk, we could hear them howling.I can’t fail to mention the Tamarindo Art Gallery, which they own, and display their work. They are both talented artists and we came home with some wonderful artwork. We plan to return to Costa Rica and will definitely stay at their home again.

Perfect stay in Tamarindo

My fiancé and I recently stayed at Suite La Orquidea El Placer de tus Vacaciones in Tamarindo, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The property is perfectly located—just a short ways to the beach and close enough to take a day trip to visit La Leona Waterfall.What truly made this trip special was the incredible hospitality from our hosts, Sergio and his wife. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering us a level of personal care that you don’t always get at a typical hotel, while still providing the luxury and comfort we were hoping for. The suite was beautifully maintained, and we felt like we had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Tamarindo—great location, wonderful hosts, and the perfect balance of homey comfort with a touch of luxury!

Greatest VRBO in Tamarindo

WOW! WOW! WOW! Mariello and Sergio have 3 gorgeous units that incorporate their artistic talents into the rooms, pool area and outdoor kitchen. They provided us with a personal orientation to area shops, beaches, tours and restaurants,and HELP when we had issues with our transportation plans. Onsite are their art studios and gallery with extensive pieces of their original modern and local Costa Rica themed artwork. So peaceful!!!

Convenient location for Tamarindo, just outside the noise and crowds but an easy drive to everything. The hosts are nice. Mariella has good English and she brought some clever design to the property. Overall, if you want to spend time in Tamarindo, this is a good place to stay.

Excellent place to stay

It was a wonderful place to stay. So beautiful. Couple was outstanding in their attention to detail and their accommodation of anything that was needed. Will return next year and stay again. Very quiet but close to anything you needed within walking distance to restaurants or a short drive to town.
