Brilliant location for the old city; clean and very friendly staff. A room at the back avoided the potential for any late night noise from an adjacent bar. Breakfast buffet worked well with a good variety of hot and cold food. We’d return

Yes a nice hotel , but would have been better around other side as noisy in night from the hostel and bar , plus room was a bit stuffy so would liked to have window slightly open , but a bit noisy , otherwise for what I paid standard was very good , and well situated to old town

Excellent Service

We arrive quite early on the ferry from Stockholm. We did not expect the rooms to be ready, but the lady at the reception gave us one and she went the extra mile to make sure we would get the other one within minutes. Real customer obsession! The place is super convenient just outside the city walls, with plenty of affordable restaurants around.

Tidy hotel with good location

Bern has good location in the vicinity of the Old Town. Hotel and the room were clean and staff is polite. The breakfast was OK but nothing special. Bern served well the purpose for us as an accommodation for 1 night. Could consider staying at Bern again.

The staff was wonderful. The location near the old town district was great, especially since it was in a quiet area. It had an excellent breakfast buffet, which ample egg and meat choices, as well as tasty pancakes, cereals, breads, and juices. Since my departure flight was early in the morning, the staff prepared me a breakfast bag (two sandwiches, a juice, and an apple). That make this place special to me. The only disappointment was that the maid did not replace the bathroom liquid soap dispenser. The last morning there I had to use my own soap.

Disappointing.

I booked and stayed in a superior double room. Upon checking in, I discovered that the room was not cleaned properly. There was an empty can of beer on the floor tucked away near the window (the hotel staff presumably was not aware of it as it was obstructed by the curtain). Secondly, the shower gel/soap is in a mounted dispenser on the shower wall -- except it was almost at empty. I would have expected all the amenities to be fully stocked and refilled for each guest. Lastly, there was no water for extended period of time. At first, we were informed that the water would be unavailable until 16:00 -- where in fact it was not available until closer to 19:00 without proper notification (and the water stayed brown for a while before it cleared up). I suppose I got what I paid for, but I would stay elsewhere when I return to Tallinn in the future.
