Even though I ordered room service, I had to wait over two hours. I contacted them twice, but they were not very sincere in their responses. I felt sorry for the children because they were hungry. There are plenty of pools and play areas for children. It's a five-star hotel for kids and a three-star hotel for adults. Most of the staff were smiling and full of hospitality.

Shops within walking distance nearby was a plus to add some variety. Our room needed a refresher but otherwise direct access to the pool is great for the kids. The resort is large though and bicycles wouldve been a great facility, even the workers use them. Plenty of amenity and we enjoyed ourselves there

Property has seen better days. There were bagworms hanging from the toilet roof, toilet fittings are mouldy and rusting. Rooms smelt like they had been air freshened with toilet deodorant. Bedroom furniture is also worn out and not kept in good condition. It could also have been the season when I was visiting, but there are flies everywhere at dining premises. The main restaurant we used for breakfast was not air conditioned, which probably exacerbated the flies issue. On the upside, the pools were very nice, it was about the part of the stay that we enjoyed the most. We checked out 2 days early and moved to another hotel. Definitely not the 4.5 stars that it's meant to be.

Family pool access room great with kids however balcony was so short you could not recline the deck chairs while facing the pool, other pool access rooms facing kids areavlooked like they had larger balconies. Kids club was great for kids. Beach is nice, too rough to swim in during the low season. Little ahop onsite was handy and shoet walk to many restaurants, cheaper than eating at hotel. Life jackets provided for swimming if required. Kids slides good for kids under 5. Room with showers and toilets for late check out was great.

Great Facilities and Service, but Lacking Evening

Almost everything about our stay was excellent. The pools were fantastic and a real highlight for the whole family. Breakfast was good and well worth the price. The staff at the Flying Market restaurant and in the kids club were exceptionally friendly and provided great service. The only downsides were the slow-running water and inconsistent shower temperature in our room, which unfortunately were not fixed despite informing the staff, and the lack of evening activities — the hotel feels completely dead at night with nothing to do.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Khao Lak centre. Very convenient for exploring outside the hotel, with town on your doorstep. Staff very friendly, nothing too much trouble. We stayed in a sea view suite which was clean and had plenty of space. Also managed early check in which was appreciated after travelling for 24hrs. Would stay again.
