The central AC vent is about 5’ x4” and is right over the middle of the bed so it blows directly on top when you’re sleeping. On my second day, the front desk attendant accused me of smoking in the room! I told him that is ridiculous since I’m a non-smoker and certainly not going to start now! Said cigarette smell was coming from my room!! Absolutely false and invited them to come check which they refused to do. Was planning to stay longer but changed my mind and certainly won’t be back. Breakfast was ok but not my style! Scrambled eggs with corn is a first!

Hotel was great. Clean, nice sized room, fridge, bottled water coffee tea. Good comfortable bed, little balcony. Breakfast was good even for someone from the US. Area not a lot but 7-11 next door which you can get good food. The MRT was a 5 min walk. All and all great place I would definitely stay there again

Conveniently located hotel with lovely breakfast

Hotel G7 is quite easily accessible by public transport and a lot of restaurants and stores around the area. It's about 5 to 7 mins walk from the MRT station. The front desk staff and restaurant staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. 5 star for their good service! Rooms are quite clean and beds are comfortable. 4.5 star for the room as there was a fair amount of dust behind the TV, if I need to nick pick, then that brought to my attention. Breakfast included with the stay was awesome, good food and very clean environment. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and will come back to stay in the future.

- lots of incentives to give hotel a good review on social media (eg. get a free mug or toothbrushes) - about 500m or 10min walk away from the station - breakfast not great with a small range for variety - front reception very helpful - smells of smoke (even though a non smoking area)

Great Value - Very Friendly Staff

I needed a place to stay for one night in Taipei and G7 was an excellent choice. The room was very comfortable and I was able to prepare for my business meeting the following morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I interacted with about 5 different staff members and they were all very charming. Breakfast was good too. I wanted to stay another night but had another room that I had previously booked to head to.

The whole floor which my room is has bad smell of smoking. The room also. Even though it was stated non smoking. Told the hotel staff but they insist it was non smoking. Not coming back again. i stayed at 3 different hotels for that period of vacation in Taiwan. The other 2 were nice. The price is around the same range.

One of the three rooms

We booked 3 rooms. The chemical smell in one of the room was so strong and makes us sick. We informed the hotel staff. They apologised and were empathetic. However, they were not able to move us to another room because it was full house. We had no choice but to vacant that room and we squeezed 7 of ourselves in 2 rooms. We have a little surprise breakfast. The management gave us a writing apology during our check out.

Pleasant hotel in New Taipei

Had a pleasant experience at Hotel G7 at New Taipei. PROS: value for money, breakfast, Beddings, Bathroom, Walking distance to MRT station, helpful front desk staff CONS: No window and no clock in the room, very tight space for clothes & luggage and very little space to walk around the room

Spacious room

I was staying for a night for the transit back to HK on the next day. My first impression about the room is spacious compared to the other hotel I stayed in Taipei. The room is clean and it has everything I needed. The only complaint I have is the location from the metro train station as it is a little walking distance in between. Overall, I will stay again.

The hotel is clean and nice with excellent staffs!

Very interesting and good environment hotel. My wife and I were so happy with this trip because we were managed to visit most of the places by using MRT, such as Dan Shui Lao Jie, Bei Tou Wen Quan, Jiu Fen, Shihlin Market, Xin Men Ding, New Taipei Christmas Party, Hao Chu Zao Chan (Breakfast), Deng Yi Ge Ren De Ka Fei, Taipei 101, Rao He Market, Jiu Fen Pu, Dozo Izakaya Bar, and etc.

Is a very nice hotel。 Though the hitel us located a bit far from the MTR 捷運 (about 7 minutes), this new hotel is extremely good for its staff who is very polite and helpful。 Room is very clean。 Breakfast buffet is very delicious。
