Enjoying lovely uninterrupted views towards the beach, the waters of the inner Dornoch Firth and on to the distant Sutherland Hills, this lovely traditional property has been sympathetically renovated and provides a super base for exploring this wonderful part of the Highlands. Furnished and equipped to a very good standard to ensure as comfortable and relaxing holiday as possible and conveniently located just a few steps from Portmahomack’s sweeping sandy beach and a variety of local amenities which include a post office, licensed convenience store, restaurant, bistro and golf club. Visit the Tarbat Discovery Centre which provides visitors with an insight into the areas Pictish past and Tarbat Ness home to one of the tallest lighthouses in Britain. To the south visit Inverness, the Highland Capital, Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield and Fort George whilst to the north you can take a trip to experience the beautiful Dunrobin Castle in Golspie, visit the beautiful seaside town of Dornoch, or explore the vast expanses of unspoilt landscapes and rocky inlets of Sutherland and Caithness. Further afield, a trip to the Orkney Isles is recommended. Golf, mountain biking, sea trips and fishing and a large variety of watersports are just a few of the many activities available.
