Marriott Hotels & Resorts - accommodation in Syracuse

I have been staying at the Parkview for over a decade - family visits to Syracuse. Over the last year Hampton/Hilton bought it and has been renovating it. One feature that made the Parkview feel like home was to spacious "Living Room" in the front of the hotel - comfy sofas and chairs, a fireplace, picture windows, an area for business - perfect. But alas, it is all gone - everything. I am sure they are going to do something with it - probably modern like the rooms. SAD! Whoever redesigned the rooms left out the desk and dresser - replaced by a small round table and to odd chairs. No place to store clothes, except in the small night stands. Thankfully the TV was updated - much larger. The bathroom shower is huge but there is limited surface area are on sink.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was basic.

The room was clean, the staff was super helpful, the hotel is a gorgeous with an old historic feel! We loved staying there !
