If you desire, I try and meet guests if they wish at some stage of their stay. As well as providing the ground floor terrace, I want to welcome you to my city. My wife and I live upstairs on the first and second floors so we can usually help you out if you ever need assistance. Feel free to ask any questions ) -

The check in was incredibly easy and the instructions by the host very clear. The host included a booklet with information on the property and the area which was extremely helpful.The location is very convenient to restaurants, shopping, transportation and sites. It is just a short walk or bus ride to anywhere you’d want to go.The only drawbacks are the bathroom and the layout of the apartment. The apartment is listed as one and a half bathrooms, but there is only one toilet between the two bathrooms. One bathroom has a sink and a shower only. The other bathroom has a toilet with attached sink that only runs when you flush the toilet. I consider the layout of the main bedroom to be a drawback because in order to get from the front door or living room to the kitchen or bathroom, you must walk through the bedroom. Overall, it was a comfortable place to stay and a very nice location.

Loved our time at Darlinghurst Terrace. We’ve enjoyed many stays at various properties over the years, all of them good. However, the owner of this place has taken the short term stay experience to a whole new level of excellence. Secure parking was important to us on this visit, but when in Sydney we will be booking here whether we have a car or not.

Fantastic Fortnight
We’ve just moved out of your Darlinghurst apartment after a terrific two week vacation. The location could not be better. The local area is crammed with fabulous cafes, shops and restaurants (especially Marsala Theory and Nour). The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Comfortable beds and great air conditioning. User friendly kitchen and all the appliances you’d want (except for a BBQ - which would be nice on the deck). Communication with Paul could not have been better. I highly recommend this listing and would be delighted to be able to return in the future.

Comfortable quiet apartment in a great centra position.
The apartment was perfect for us a retired couple. Really comfortable and quiet bedrooms private access and sunny back deck. Walking distance to most things. Only two snags. We could not use the Smart TV without more instruction and a password. The owners wife tried to help unsuccessfully. Also I felt that the shower recess was slippery and needs a mat. We would love to return.

Fabulous stay in Darlinghurst
This is a fantastic property to stay in when visiting Sydney. Paul was an excellent host - all instructions, communication and information about the area, amenity and the great opportunity of parking was very clearly communicated. We loved Paul’s home - it had everything we needed, was spotless and had extra kind touches such as coffee options such as ground coffee and pods. I loved his choice of ground coffee and a great plunger to use 👏👌The location - fantastic and very quiet considering in such a cosmopolitan hub - very close ( walking distance to Kings Cross and Museum train station, we walked to Hyde Park and the NSW Gallery and Bitanical gardens - fabulous coffee nearby and enjoyed a Paul’s suggestion of Sticky Fingers cafe - just superb!! Also went to a fabulous Indian restaurant just up the road - divine and superb service - would highly recommend and we hope to be back ourselves - Thank again, Paul.

Best place in town!
We had an amazing time. Extremely spacious terrace in Darlinghurst. Paul is an amazing host. We will never stay anywhere else now when having a getaway in Sydney. It was perfect, clean to the highest standards and very premium accommodation. Paul has nailed the fit out and decor. Thanks Paul we will absolutely be back!

Nicely renovated old terrace house, with every modern amenity. Amazingly quiet inside, yet close to the City. Convenient access, including a secure parking spot behind the house. A very agreeable and obliging host. We greatly enjoyed our three nights and hope to stay again in the future.

Excellent property & location!
This property ideally suited the purpose of our visit. It is clean, comfortable & private. The deck, which provides a view of the city skyline, is a great place to relax & unwind. It is definitely a bonus having secure parking onsite although the location of this property meant that we didn’t need to use the car during our stay. Paul is an excellent host & a good communicator. While he was available for us if required, he was respectful of our privacy.
We look forward to returning to this property again in the future.

Amazing terrace house super well located
Really liked the layout of the property, it seems like a revamp of the original floorplan and it works really well.
The house was clean, as advertised and the Owner responsive and helpful.
Enjoyed my stay here even though I didn't get to use the amazing terrace as it was raining most of the time.
