We booked this last minute as a dog friendly hotel to meet friends. We were given a very warm welcome and staff were very hospitable and helpful throughout our visit. We stayed in Highgrove room which was a very good size and very clean. It was genuinely clean rather than chemically clean which you often find in dog friendly rooms. The food was very nice but the choice was restricted compared to the online menu.
Nice place, lovely friendly staff, room was clean and modern, food was excellent, lovely sun trap beer garden out the back, we only had a one night stay as we were passing through but I'd happily stay there again.
All the staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful, nothing appeared to be too much trouble.
The room itself was pleasant but far too hot and the fan was not adequate.
