We recently stayed at this vacation home, and overall the layout and size accommodated our group nicely. The location and space had a lot of potential, but unfortunately, the condition and upkeep of several amenities were disappointing and took away from the experience.There were multiple maintenance and cleanliness issues throughout the property. Upon arrival, we found dirty towels left on the floor in the loft area. Several barstools were missing screws and felt unstable. The dining room table and mats were all sticky. The grill had clearly not been cleaned, the grease trap was completely full, and one of the grill doors was broken. The remote for the master bedroom fireplace didn't have batteries, so we had to purchase our own to use that amenity. The refrigerator ice maker did not seem to work at all. The ice in the freezer was frozen into one large clump, and the ice trays contained dirty ice. The blinds in one of the bedrooms were broken so the door going outside was not accessible.Outside, the fire pit area was full of debris, leaves, and pine needles, along with an empty tote. The hot tub temperature had not been turned up before our arrival, which meant waiting quite a while before it was usable.While the home itself fit our needs well, the lack of attention to maintenance and cleanliness was disappointing. With better upkeep and preparation between guests, this property could provide a much better experience. This would not be a location I would book again.
