Stay far away! This house should never be on VRBO. It was filthy upon arrival, moldy/mildew smell engulfed the home, moldy towels in the laundry and dirt in every nook and cranny. I can keep going but there wouldn’t be enough space. Contact with host prior was great…the moment we arrived and asked for a full refund we heard nothing. I contacted Vrbo and they are working on it. Stay far away from this house.

Positives: This listing was very location forward. The lake was exceptional. The hot tub was another great highlight of our trip as well. Things to consider prior to booking:Cleanliness; this location was dirty. Surface cleaning only. There were cobwebs and dust throughout the entire house. The sheets were stained. There were two grills, both unusable. One was burned and looked like it was involved in a fire and the second was easily the most disgusting grill I’ve seen. Dirt and grime through out. We purchased a grill due to obvious health concerns. There was a laundry room in the basement with clutter and dirty laundry spread across the floor. They charged a 200 cleaning fee and were obviously pocketing it. Number of bed rooms:This is a 3 bedroom house. One full suite in the basement, two on the main level and they repurpose the open space upstairs area by adding 3 beds and a single divider. Two of the beds were on an extreme slope and were only usable by the children as any adult would constantly hit their head. Lack of toiletries: The listing says it sleeps 12 (I booked for 11 and was charged a 50 extra person fee)They only provided 6 towels total. The sun area was unusable just due to how dirty it was. Half of the outdoor furniture didn’t have cushions. And the other half was extremely dirty.
