Great Girls Trip Location
We had a group of 10 girls stay for a long weekend getaway. It was the perfect location nearby Mawby, Suttons Bay Ciders, and more. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and lots of seating areas for a large group. It’s also so nice that you can walk down to the water or just enjoy the view from the house. Highly recommend this home for any ‘up north’ trips!

Great house, not far from activities and sights
Our stay turned out great. We caught the fall foliage at its peak when we arrived and made the most of the unseasonably warm late October weather.
The house's location was nice, just across the road (M22) that runs along Lake Michigan. It's up a long driveway from the road. Normally, I look for houses right on lakes. This house broke the tradition, but it worked out OK. Besides having to cross a somewhat busy M22 and step over a guardrail to get to the lake, the water level was low, making the shoreline thick mud. Consequently, we couldn't use the available kayaks. Bad luck.
The house was very nice and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the open and combined great room/dining area/kitchen. It allowed all 9 of us to hang out together, eat, play games, and watch football. The beds and pillows were comfy and having so many bathrooms and showers was great. Our daughter and son-in-law made good use of the hot tub, and we all gathered around the fire pit on the balcony looking toward Lake Michigan.
None of the sights we wanted to see were more than half an hour or so away. We went to the lighthouse; hiked at Sleeping Bear Dunes; biked the trail that parallels the lake; explored Fishtown/Leland, Suttons Bay, and Traverse City; sampled lots of cherry products; and enjoyed local microbreweries. Hop Lot for beer was great as was the Suttons Bay Ciders.
The host was great and resolved one minor issue quickly. All in all, we had a great time!

Great Up North Escape
We had a terrific time at the property. Our group enjoyed all of the surrounding activities during the day and enjoyed games, a campfire and great conversations on the deck in the evening. We would highly recommend the property and may consider it for the next time we book Up North.

Birthday getaway.
Location and property were great. Several beds had sand in them. Not enough towels. Floors were dirty. Water pressure was poor. Fan is master was not working correctly. Master bedroom needs black out shades - east exposure.

Long time Friends’ trip
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, well stocked, and matched the description on VRBO. We recommend that you check the TV remotes. In addition, the directions for the remotes, recycling vs trash, and the dehumidifier could be clearer. Some of us found the dehumidifier to be a nuisance ( we left it on all of the time. Finally , the doors throughout the house were very squeaky. That should be addressed. We did have a great time.

Great Family Getaway
This 5-bedroom property was ideal for our family with 4 adult children. The location was close to lots of Leelenau towns for shopping and dining, lakes for boating, and golf courses. We took advantage of all the amenities at the house, including the outdoor grill, outdoor fire pit, hot tub and beach area with kayaks (across the road). The view and weather were both lovely which made for a fabulous family vacation!

Amazing !!!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying in the house we rented for four days in Leelanau County, Michigan. From the moment we drove up to the house, we knew that this was going to be a great stay. The driveway was heated, which we greatly appreciated as we arrived late at night with snow on the ground. As soon as we entered inside, it became clear that the house had been kept immaculately clean and well maintained - you could tell that a lot of care went into its upkeep.
The windows were huge, letting in so much natural light throughout the day and offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. We also loved how spacious everything was throughout; even though our group was quite large (ten people), there was still plenty of room to move around and not feel cramped or crowded.
The kitchen was incredible, with all of the necessary tools for cooking anything from breakfast to dinner. The cookware was top-notch and made preparing meals easier than ever before. We also immensely enjoyed having access to a huge garage which allowed us to store any outdoor equipment or vehicles with ease during our stay.
Overall, staying at this house exceeded all expectations! We enjoyed every moment spent there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in Leelanau County, Michigan - you won't be disappointed!
