Stayed here many times. This was the worst yet. Place is in dire need of an update. Bathtubs were old and stained awful. Carpet looks dirty. Furniture needs replacement. Wood peeling off the bathroom door in the first room. They had to move us because the toilet wouldn’t flush. Lobby still looks fine and staff friendly and helpful but that doesn’t make up for how much the place needs a refresh. On sight restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Evening food fair very limited. Breakfast was exactly the same every morning and not a pastry in sight. Just sausage links, fake scrambled eggs, very hard biscuits and potato patty. They did have cereal and yogurt and fruit along with bagels and bread for toast. Just not appetizing. As stated before this has always been our go to place to stay in that area but after the state of the rooms this time that may change. They really need to do an update. Close one side(there is a north and south) and renew then do the other if need be. For this to be their convention center it is definitely lacking this year. In all the years coming here we have never regretted it until this year. Such a convenient place to stay. Please do a refresh

Very clean room, house cleaning did a great job, front desk was very helpful but the king bed we had was the hardest, most uncomfortable bed that I've ever tried to sleep on.

I would have appreciated more communication about restaurant hours. Couldn't find it published anywhere. Menu? Bathroom was in need of repair. Shower curtain rod was falling off. Plaster in tub. Couldn't shower without water getting on floor. Mad it slippery. We paid $166.00 for what seemed to be less than suitable. The staff was very nice.

Not sure if it's good when staff starts to remember you, and you only visit a couple times a year :) Staff as always were friendly and nice, even knew we preferred north tower and switched us from south. Room was clean as usual. However when they go to remodel they need to replace to potties, they are so low you want to sing Free Falling by Tom Petty.

Nice place to stop on our way to Myrtle Beach. Lots of parking, hotel was clean with friendly staff and a nice breakfast included.

Gave it a try, never again

Check in was a little rocky due to this facility had a north tower and a south tower with apparently two reservation desks. Once the issue was known, clerks assigned a room to us which turned out to be an uncleaned room. Apparently housekeeping said room was ready and it was not. Older clerk immediately grabbed our luggage and brought us to an 'upgraded' room which turns out to have only one queen bed and we reserved a king size. Toilet had feces under lid. Called clerk and he said he would see what he could fo with bill. A/C in room was either too cold or too warm. There was not enough accessible electrical outlets in room, just blank covers over junction boxes. Shower was handicap accessible and water was good and hot. Tried to check out in morning and clerk was struggling with extending the stay of another guest so I had to leave key on desk and just leave. This could be an excellent facility with overview management of housekeeping staff to keep rooms properly cleaned and not falsifying whether a room had been cleaned or not as it appears was done. Instructions to go to North tower vs. south tower for check in would have helped.
