Lovely stay at the Angel - would return

Enjoyed our stay at the Angel Hotel. Entire building is very quirky; low wood beams and creaky floors. We had a b&b package and the breakfast both days were good - lots of choice. Help with luggage on arrival. Parking is in the adjacent market square. For the price of the stay in comparison to private rented accommodation it was very good value. Would recommend visitors ask for a room on Prentice Street. Pub visitors tend to sit outside on the market square so noise travels.

Angelic hotel

Stayed here for a wedding, great village and hotel is rustic and amazing. Even visited Harry Potters house in the village too a small 2 minute walk away. Highly recommend the hotel!

In the heart of Lavenham so nicely situated.

As it has a pub and restaurant downstairs I was worried it might be noisy when in our room but I could not believe how quiet it was! :) Room was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and made sure we were happy throughout our stay.

Lovely historic hotel

Had one night stay, mid week. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room small and quirky lots of sloping floor problems due to age of building. Plumbing a little dated and noisy at times but generally well kitted out. Lovely breakfast.

e we stopped at Lavenham en route to NT sites in the area. Very pleasant hotel opposite the guildhall. Room was lovely with old fashioned features. Bathroom was spotless.

Nice old English building in historic Lavenham

Cheerful check-in experience, excellent Wi-Fi with rapid connection (room and bar). Unfortunately, it was a stormy night and in keeping with the age of the building, there was a lot of creaking; I have stayed previously on a more normal night which was not as spooky!

Good hotel in the middle of town

We experienced a warm welcome on arrival and throughout our stay.... the room No 7 is especially good if you have a four legged friend in tow because it is downstairs . The food was well presented and delicious....decor somewhat tired on stairs and landing but overall a very pleasant stay.

Great hotel and perfect location

The Angel Hotel is in the heart of this pretty town. Full of character, friendly and helpful staff and a great menu. I enjoyed a supurb full English breakfast plus lots of other choices. Great price and I highly recommend a stay.

We stayed for 3nights our room was comfy and clean only one slight problem with the room is having what I call a growler in the bathroom at odd times during the night the growler toilet would empty its self breakfast on our second morning was rather a long wait, but these things would not stop us giving a recommendation to friends

Nice place to stay

Quirky and full of character. A pleasant greeting on arrival and taken to our room. Room was clean and comfortable, although old. It had an added en-suite. The staff were very friendly and the food was good. The hotel is well situated in Lavenham to visit other historic sites. A pleasant stay.
