You really want to stay here!!

My wife and I mis-connected on our STR flight and needed an easy overnight place. A quick review of Hotels.Com showed Hotel Flora to be unique and close by. After 14 nights of Marriotts, it sounded like a perfect change of pace. And it was! Easy train rde (12 min?) from STR and you are here. Patricia greeted me by name when I walked in. She took us to our room personally and showed us around. We had a very comfortable double room with a nice balcony where we had some champagne to drown our trip problems. The hotel is really quaint, very clean , very comfortable and in a nice German neighborhood. There are several ;local restaurants within 5 mins walking and a grocery store/ATM right here as well. As mentioned in previous reviews, the U-bahn is right here. It is everything you need to experience a bit of Stuttgart on your trip here The breakfast buffet was very tasty and had hot and cold foods. Everybody at the front desk was so very helpful and spoke excellent english This place is a little gem in the million different high rise listings for Stuttgart. I highly recommend it.

I liked the fact that if the room is ready before check in time they will let you use it. I didn’t like the fact that it wasn’t advertised that they can provide you with adapters for charging your electronics. I was still pleased with the front desk lady allowing me to use her charger for my phone 👍

Would highly recommend this cozy hotel, if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in Stuttgart, away from the busy city. The location is very good and a 2-minute walk to the train station where you can take an 18-minute train ride to the City Center of Stuttgart. It also has a really good bakery a supermarket and lots of small shops aroubd the area. The hotel is managed by very friendly and helpful staff and makes you have the feeling of Home away from Home. Very clean and the amenities provided are complete which includes a good hearty breakfast.

Spacious room and bathroom, very quiet, close to metro station and a supermarket. Spotless clean. Very good breakfast. The only problem is that there's only one plug by each side of the bed with a lamp attached (and not a lot of light if you unplug the lamps). There was a power strip on the desk, but it stopped working after a while...

Worked very well...

The staff was great. The room very comfortable. The breakfast very good. Reasonably close to the airport. I would definitely look to stay there when flying in/out of the airport if you have a car.

Nice, basic three star hotel in a suburb of Stuttgart. Easy walk to local trains. Given the hot weather the room was a stuffy but this is normal for these types of German hotels. Very kind and helpful staff.
