It's a scam on Expedia!!! The Bear Inn exists, but you need to book through their website. We booked through Expedia and theses were scammers - the Inn hadn't heard of us and thought very sad for us and trying to help us, we needed to find new rooms for the night....AVOID!!!!

we did not stay at the Bear Inn. We arrived there and there were no rooms available. Three other couples had arrived with the same result. The owner does not have an account with hotels.com, and the picture on the email shows the Bear Inn room as it was when the current owner took over some time back.This is a scam and we have spent a considerable amount of time getting our money back with a derisory offer of £10 for our trouble.
