Great location right on the Lake

The hotel was in a great location right across from the Lake and a short walk to the Ferry terminals and restaurants. On arrival we were taken to our room in the Annexe which was quite small with no view of the Lake. After enquiring, the hotel staff were happy to relocate us to another room in the main hotel with a partial view of the Lake. The bed was quite hard and the room was on the smallish size. The powerpoints were old and couldn't accommodate our phone chargers, except for one in the bathroom. There was a full buffet breakfast in the large restaurant which has a lovely view overlooking the Lake. The restaurant service was OK but most mornings we had to get the attention of the wait staff to order some coffee. The elevator was old, slow and small and the doors would close too quickly, and on one occasion actually closed on my wife injuring her hand. There was free parking available at the back of the hotel however there was only about 8 spots which filled quickly and were always full. To their credit the hotel offered snd parked our car for us at another location that was effectively a valet type parking. The staff were very helpful and friendly and helped us make restaurant reservations.

dont stay in the annexe

There is the main hotel which is very nice but the Annexe is third world in comparison and for $200 EU those rooms are extremely poor value. Then we had the unfortunate problem if arriving in Spring when hotel management decide that heating and cooling is not required so they turn it off even though temps range from 9 to 29.
