Great location in a very picturesque town. The hosts/owners are very friendly and are working hard on maintaining the history of the gas works.

Gasworks Strathalbyn - more than you would expect

Pros: It was quiet, tranquil and clean and well appointed
Cons: When you are enamoured with something- it is hard to find fault !
Location: Strathalbyn is close to the wine districts, known for its antiques and hotels and restaurants - try the Winehouse at Langhorne Creek
We stayed two days and two nights - we both commented on the attention we were shown - even before I alighted from the car I was met by both Heather and Graham who showed us our cottage - well maintained, clean and airy. I would highly recommend the accommodation for the peace and tranquillity- we are planning our next visit. Ps bail up either Graham or Heather their local knowledge is excellent as are their stories.

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing

Pros: Friendly service
Cons: Closer check on some facilities if the room hasn't been used recently
Location: Fantastic tapas bar nearby - old 60s style with friendly staff and great food
A great spot to get away from the rat race with town facilities within walking distance. Very pleasant staff who liked a chat and sharing their own stories.

Thank you for your kind review and apologies for reception, unfortunately some TV channels in rural areas do have problems especially during certain weather conditions.
