Cleanest hotel I have stopped in. Excellent Breakfast and evening food. Found out that they have a Curling Sports Centre where the sport of Curling is done. Currently this team are the world champions. if you are looking for a Hotel in Stranraer, definitely go to the North West Castle Hotel

We are so glad that we stayed in this gem of a hotel. It was such a special experience. The pool and sauna are nice to relax in after a day of travel. The dinner is 5 star and the view over the bay in the morning is priceless.

We were very pleased to know that the hotel was in the middle of a total refubishment of the bedrooms . It is needed. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was disappointing - it flattered to deceive. Continental had poor choice and cooked was not great. Staff, tho, did their best and the breakfast room was beautifully laid out.
