We had a great stay in this hotel - staff were very friendly and helpful, the choice for breakfast was incredible and the location of the hotel is ideal - a 5 minute walk from the bus station but also just round the corner from the main shopping area and easily walkable to Gamla Stan old town. Would definitely like to visit again. We had a standard room which was compact but comfortable.

Stockholm stay

Breakfast was great, with both hot and cold items. The front desk staff was great. The room (mine had a double bed) was small, even by European standards; but it was clean. There was no real closet. But it had a bar with hangers and pegs placed throughout the room which were really helpful. The shower was great. If you use a wash cloth (I do), bring one (I did). The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the the train station and there many restaurants and shops close by. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town sights.

We loved the location of the hotel, which provides easy access to everything! Plus, the room was nice and clean. It was on the small side, but since we were only there to sleep, it wasn’t much of a problem for us. Be aware that there is no AC, and since the temperature was quite high during out visit, the room got very warm…

They don’t want loyalty they just all your money

Terrible check-in. I stayed often in Scandic hotels in Stockholm when visiting. Now I have to wait until 16:00 hours to check in without having to pay to 200 Swedish kronor for early check-in even though plenty of rooms was available since long. It makes you feel you are a valuable returning customer. Not! I will consider other options from now on in Sweden as this was appalling.

We loved the location; close to shops, restaurants, key attractions, and public transit. The employees were also quite lovely. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and was fresh and delicious. It would be nice if they could deep clean or change the carpet. Quite stained and grimy. I would stay here again!
