Dirty carpets, broken shower. Supposed to be an upgraded room but really wish I hadn’t paid the extra. Bloody good breakfast though.

Great hotel, be specific with your needs and pref

A frequent user of this hotel as it is good location for my work trips. Always love the beds and the breakfast is varied and good quality. Downsides, very few rooms have a bath and as a solo traveller I’m often put on the main corridor so am frequently woken by other guests running up and down corridor/shouting at night and the cleaner at 5:30/6am bashing the wall with their broom or mop. If staying be really clear with your preferences or needs.

Very well situated property with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. The Elm house with only 15 units was perfect for a cozy but well-amenitized stay. Warm decor and great staff.

Absolutely recommencd

The hotel staff were professional and courteous. Our room was awesome--quiet, convenient to a direct bus into town (Rte 3 or 3A), good walking distance to pub (Prince of Wales). Food was also good.

we stayed here for a couple of nights whilst seeing a show in Oxford. The hotel is in a quiet location approx 1.8 miles from Oxford City centre. There is a very pleasant walk along the Thames into the city (takes approx 30 mins)or the hotel is well served with several buses. The staff were very friendly, the room was nice and breakfasts were also very good. If returning to Oxford, i would more than happily use the hotel again

Generally a good for an overnight in Oxford- rooms always a bit warm and air con rarely works. Main frustration is the cheap duvet but it is ok.

I had a lovely stay. Rooms were nice, although my shower area as a bit of a squeeze, especially when you consider I'm not a tall person at all, but that was OK. Comfy beds, quiet area. Friendly staff. Nice walks to the river.

This is a really lovely hotel in a good location. The restaurant food food was delicious. However this was the first time in my three week visit to the UK that a service charge was added to the restaurant bill. Not sure why this occurs - please include your costs in your meal prices, rather than adding extra after the meal.

The hotel is nice but I booked through Expedia a double and a sofa bed, and when we got there they only had a bed and bunk beds available. Our infants are too young for the bunk beds. So we were disappointed it wasn’t communicated properly that we booked the sofa bed
