Private and quiet Chalet located on ski mountain. Sunny deck with a European flair, the Chalet is lovely in all 4 seasons. 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, on 3 levels sleeps 7 to 8. Open floor plan on mid level, bedrooms on upper and garden level.
Spectacular views, 2 decks, hot tub, 2 gas fireplaces, 2 tv's, WIFI, full kitchen and washer and dryer. gas grill. on main deck. All cotton linens provided. Flat easy parking. Relax and enjoy !

Great house in a perfect location

Beautiful home up on the hill. It has everything you need. Feels like a mountain cabin more than a modern home. Itā€™s not quite walking distance to the mountain, but there is a quick easy free shuttle.

Great location, everything we needed

Very cozy and comfortable place to stay with everything we needed. The one thing to be aware of is that if you use Apple maps, directions will send you to a house about a block away. The folks said that they were used to getting knocks on their door - so double check the address! :)

Enjoyable experience

Very roomy. Was able to spread out. Quiet location. Hot tub was very clean and worked well. The house kitchen furnishings and bedroom/bathroom furnishings were all very well stocked. The house is close to all Steamboat has to offer. The 3 of us and our dog really enjoyed our 4 night stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Location and views are very nice. Easy to get to groceries,Restaurants etc. Driving to the ski mountain is easy and close. Using the free bus is challenging for older adults with ski gear. Fairly steep hill between the house and bus pickup.

Chipmunk Chalet is a gem

Great location, well equipped kitchen, grill worked great, beds were comfy (2 of them are Kings)! The views are amazing and the fire places add a nice comfy touch. We will be back!

Comfy but needs updates and maintenance

Stayed for a weekend in the summer. Location is great and close to the mountain and a short drive or bus to downtown. The house is comfy and has what you need, but is in pretty dire need of cosmetic and actual repairs. Many of the ceiling lights did not work, the carpet smelled like dog urine a bit in the basement, and the mattresses are quite lumpy. Overall the stay was enjoyable but couldā€™ve been enhanced by some TLC to the property.

First day was extremely hot inside and only one fan was provided. Had to purchase additional fan. Most windows on middle and lower floors wouldnā€™t open. Too many stairs to get around home for seniors. Grill did not heat properly. Full loads of laundry left in both dryers and dishwasher was full.

House with a view of the valley.

This was our second stay at this property. Some of the bedrooms were upstairs and another area in the lower level. Nice in case some want to stay up later or early risers can sleep in different areas in the house. The lower level is cooler also. The hot tub is private. We enjoyed our stay.
