Dated but Functional
This place was just okay. It was mostly clean and mostly functional, but it wasn’t great overall. Unit seemed very clean on arrival, but the next morning I noticed a pan full of bacon grease left by a previous guest. We also noticed the smell of weed from a neighboring unit (after signing a pretty strict ‘no smoking policy’ for our unit). I texted the local property manager about both items and got no response. There was at least one lightbulb out, no garbage can in the master bathroom, and the bunk bed frame, while not unsafe, needs to either be replaced or the screws tightened—it rocks a little bit. The dining setup is a bit funky. At least one stove burner wasn’t properly seated after the unit was cleaned, so it seemed like not all of the burners worked even tho they did. My son was unable to find the pump for the air mattress on the pullout sofa, and the info in the unit didn’t provide any clues where to look. The lock on the unit storage area is secure, but could be upgraded.
The hot water is great, but be mindful if you have small kids. The cold water is great.
