Nice hotel and area, c 20 min walk from centre. Great breakfast, lots choice and good quality. Could improve small things in room - provide non slip mat for shower in bath, check and repair fittings (taps difficult to turn off, extractor not working). We stayed there for a week for a wedding and booked a few other rooms for other guests. We had an upgraded room, they all had older rooms. Even in our upgraded one, you had to sit sideways on the toilet otherwise your knees would bang on the shower glass. When showering, the water collected on the lip of the shower base where it pooled and went all over the bathroom floor. In the room itself, we found it very difficult to control the temperature. There was a radiator we could turn on and off. Even with it off, the bathroom floor (no controls) was heated and the room often got too hot to bear. We would open the windows, but then it would get too cold. The windows were always covered in moisture no matter what we did. The room also had no fridge nor microwave which made staying there challenging. The main common area didn't have a microwave either. All that being said, the upgraded room was nice and it was clean. The cleaning staff did a great job with taking care of the room every day.
