We had a great stay at Dancing Bear cabin. Great location very close to Shenandoah National Park. The cabin is beautiful inside and out and the views off the back deck are amazing. The cabin was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!

Weekend getaway in June

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! From before check-in to check-out, Carrie was extremely responsive and flexible. The cabin itself was tastefully decorated and had amazing views. We had 6 in our group (four adults and two teenagers); we were all very comfortable and had all we needed for our two-night stay. We would definitely stay here again if our travels brought us back to this area.

My friends and I had a fantastic time staying at the dancing bear. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. The host was also easy to get ahold of. There is a wonderful view from the cabin overlooking the valley below. Just make sure to bring a flashlight for the stairs leading to the firepit when going down there at night because they are unlit and one of my friends did trip when using them in the dark.

Our group of 4 had a wonderful stay at this log cabin home. We loved the large covered porch that overlooked a beautiful view of the mountains and country. The house was secluded and quiet, tucked back into the woods. It was nice that it was close but not on the gravel road. We used the large hot tub, the fire pit and put the well appointed kitchen to good use. Location also had great access to local wineries (Early Mountain and Barboursville) and Shenandoah N.P. for great hikes (recommend South River Falls hike). We'd gladly stay at this house in the mountains again.
