The front desk staff was busy watching the game instead of checking me in. I stood there for almost 5 minutes before he acknowledged me.
Upon checking into the hotel, our lamps didn’t work so we had to use the bathroom light. Our door frame was just about disconnected from the wall. The fridge didn’t work. There was a giant crack in the bathroom mirror. There was urine in the toilet and feces smeared on it. Our sheets and pillows had stains on them. Our “non-smoking” room smelled like cigarettes. There was dried blood in the wall behind my bed.
Our reservation was for 2 nights. We sucked it up since it was almost 2AM and stayed the first night. We told the front desk about our room in the morning and they refused to give us a refund. We couldn’t bare another night so we paid AGAIN to stay in another hotel and drove back to this one in the morning to check out. The only “good” thing I can say is the area, while run-down, didn’t have any problems.
Finances aren’t the best which is why we chose this hotel, but it bit us in the behind here. Please just spend the extra bucks on a nicer place. This hotel is unsanitary and the worst I have ever stayed at.
