Norwalk Inn rates as one of our best Hotel stays

Our stay at the Norwalk Inn was wonderful. The room was great and we enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. It was just one night to break up our journey home from Maine to Virginia, but we were well rested the next day and would definitely return again.

The room was clean and the staff nice. However, this is not enough. The room was small, and lacking. There was no towel bar, towel hook and no toilet paper holder. The soap bar was the size of an Andes mint that you used to get at a restaurant at the end of a meal. There was not enough room for a table and chair, which was placed in the corner. I had to move the chair because I could not walk around the bed. The TV was small and outdated. I had to call front desk because the phone did not work on the first day. Overall, hotel needed a lot of updates and I would not stay there again.
