Our stay at the Island View Guesthouse was amazing. The view is so beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, and the whole vibe of the place is relaxing and cozy. We loved it all. If you want to splurge, book at table at the steakhouse for dinner. You will not regret it!

When I say, IVGH did not disappoint.We were greeted with cool lavender towels for our face and hands, as well as local island fruit juice. The night receptionist and bell man were so helpful. The complementary continental morning breakfast had the nicest lite island vibe. I was a little disappointed I could not order dinner from the restaurant. Let me be clear, it's not anything they did, it just isn't open Sunday and Monday and we checked in Saturday night. The restaurant gets some amazing reviews and I wanted to try it. Other than that, only 5 stars here!!! The room was clean and cool, the customer service was second to none, the views of Saint Thomas were spectacular and the beds and bedding were sooooo comfortable. You must stay if you are planning a trip to St. Thomas. Please go on a night when the restaurant is open. You won't be disappointed.

We thought the property was beautiful and the views were amazing. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Our room was small but very cozy, clean and comfortable. I would come back and definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Island View Guesthouse. The view from the room, pool, and eating areas was fabulous. The food at breakfast and the dinner we ate was delicious. We did have an issue with hot water and housekeeping but otherwise it was a good time.

The views, cleanliness of the rooms, and proximity to airport and city center (taxis are expensive on this island) make this a good choice. The upkeep of the premises is top notch. Note that the location is on an incredibly steep hill making it difficult to enter and leave the premises which also impacts taxi pickups/drop offs as well as parking is difficult. Not a complaint but something to note if you are elderly and/or limited mobility for any reason.

Our stay at Island View was amazing. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to visit St. Thomas. The view is incredible and the experience is private, unique, and intimate. The staff are all incredibly nice and helpful - they assisted us with everything from providing extra towels to scheduling taxis for excursions at the drop of a dime. The breakfast was cooked fresh every morning and dinner at the steakhouse was fantastic. Marshal came out and talked to us about how he prepared each dish after our meal which was fascinating. For anyone looking for a break from the commoditized and corporate feel of a big hotel chain, go to island view.

Island View Guest House was excellent! We booked our trip a little late so there weren’t many options but we are not disappointed with them at all. The Christmas dinner menu was top notch. The taxi they recommended was the best we used.
