Very short walk to the beach to watch the sun rise. Quiet area away from bars and heavy foot traffic. Rooms are very clean welcoming. Love this place can wait to go back.

Check in and out couldn’t be easier. Location was great, close to beach access and not far drive from the local attractions/businesses. We stayed in Presidential Studio and the room was beautiful and had everything we needed. Parking was easy (didn’t require a pass but had no issues always have a spot.) Didn’t get to use them but saw beach chairs were available. 10/10, hope to stay again!

Very quiet stay, the three staff I talked to during my stay were very friendly and hospitable. Check in is all digital we received a email with check in and check out instructions. Room was clean, we didnt check the bar and restaurant as it was closed for the 3 days we stayed. Parking was nice and easy. Close beach access and 5 minutes from the lighthouse, park and pier.

Great spot in St Simons. Room is spacious and clean. Easy walk to beach and even down town. Also easy walk to BBQ/Bar. The upstairs restaurant was great. Wonderful staff. Will be just staying here when we travel to area again.

The food and service at the rooftop Terrace Restaurant and room service were very, very good. Sorry they don't serve breakfast now. Would love to have seen what they did with that! Our suite was large and comfortable. We had a great stay.

This is our second time staying here- the room was decent we had tybee presidential suite- however there was no coffee pot in room despite having keuring cups and sugar- we called and asked for coffee pot one was promptly brought to our room- but it didn't work- so they brought up another one which also did not work- the front desk was accommodating and made a cup of coffee for my husband from their coffee pot in office- however the next few mornings he was without- Also there was no luggage holder in the room we had to use the coffee table for suitcases as my husband has a bad back and can not bend over to floor to reach his things- Also the tile floor was absolutely covered in sand my husband asked for a broom and swept our room- there should be some carpet in there in my opinion because walking on tile for days hurts our feet and back and would make vacummming easier than having a sandy floor all the time- Another suggestion is there is no full length mirror not in the closet for hanging clothes or anywhere- this may seem silly to some but we had reservations every night for dinner and I was unable to do a outfit check properly other than using my phone- The restaurant upstairs was one of the places we had dinner- food was good, service definitely has room for improvement because after we received our food we didn't get a check in from our waitress for over 30+ minutes. we were on the 4th floor and the restaurant was directly above us so was quite loud- so we used tv-

Spectacular Views and Friendly Staff

Our stay at the Ocean Lodge Resort was very pleasant. We were taken back by the view of the ocean from the room's balcony and rooftop terrace. The Housekeeping staff was very warm and friendly and made our stay exceptional. Kudos to Mrs. Star, Mrs. Minnie, Mrs. Dream, the rest of the Housekeeping Crew and the entire staff for making our stay a memorable one. The only complaint I would have to give is the misinformation on some of the web pages about the amenities of the stay. THEY DO NOT OFFER BREAKFAST (CONTINENTAL IN THE LOBBY OR AT THE RESTAURANT) OR LUNCH so be prepared to bring your own breakfast and lunch items to cook or go out somewhere to eat. They only offer dinner from 5 pm to 9 pm throughout the week. Menus were in the elevator but not sure why they were there unless there is brunch offered on the weekend. Our stay was from Wednesday to Friday so we didn't get to really experience that. I believe the restaurant is opened to the public but there is limited parking.

Our room needed an update. Old/stained furniture. Linens for pull out sofa were left in a ball, appeared to have been used. They did bring fresh linens. Floors were dirty, wore socks around and they were brown on the bottom after a few hours. Needs a deep clean and some TLC with the furniture.
