It was clean at first look. The first morning I woke up and there was one alive roach and bugs we saw. We notified the front desk who was understanding, they sprayed the same day. It is a common problem in FL but there were many crevices that needed to be sealed. As well as food crumbs right under the kitchen cabinets where the baseboards are, even a bottle cap which should be noticeable when cleaning. I kept the lights on while we slept since roaches are nocturnal and I simply wanted to defer them.
Also, the pool is quite small. There was a moderate size family that took over most of the pool chairs and more sadly even the pool.
Overall, the stay was enjoyable as we were there for only a few days and made the most of it! The front desk ladies are very kind. The location is close enough to lots of restaurants and stores. The best part was the lack of beach goers compared to surrounding areas.
