Just a great weekend.

Great place to stay. Walking distance to a lot of events. Great breakfast and evening stack time. Staff were great and helpful. Kudos to the staff.

Conveniently located, this hotel is about 3 blocks from Busch Stadium and 3 blocks from the arch. We are 60 years old and walked everywhere with no issues or safety concerns. It is in a very nice, clean part of downtown. Upon arrival, the line to check in was surprisingly long, apparently they were having technical issues, and because of this we received a note under the door that evening that our parking charges would be waived for the entire stay as a compensation for the wait. We did not even complain about the wait, but they offered this to everyone who checked in during that time! So that saved us $140. The second night that we were there, someone in an adjacent room was smoking weed, and our room filled with the smell, it was really bad. We went to the front desk and asked what could be done - they came to our room to verify and offered us a free upgrade to a larger room, and also took $60 off of our stay for that evening as we had to switch rooms at about 10 pm. The free breakfast is terrific, there is someone making fresh pancakes, there’s a waffle maker, fresh fruit salad, and each day there was also scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and potatoes, along with the usuals of cereal and oatmeal, bagels etc. The free “Kickback” or “manager’s reception” from 5:30-7 pm includes 3 free alcoholic beverages and a dinner - not just appetizers. Standout employees were Ollyn, Angel, and the woman making pancakes. Very pleased with our stay.
