Location, size & cost were great so we didn’t have to stay in the city, yet still a quick drive to the concert venue. Several food, gas stations & shopping options nearby. Host was very friendly & personable! Comfy beds, minimal checkout tasks. We will definitely look it up if we need to go to STL again!

Large house with a nice fenced back yard on a quiet deadend street. Overall the house felt a little sparse, but met our needs (extra bedrooms for visiting family nearby). The bedrooms had desks but not dressers. We did not cook at the house. The water was hot and the furnace kept the house very comfortable.

Weekend away

5 of us stayed for a long weekend. The home has plenty of room and the driveway and sidewalks weee clean from the snow and ice. Plenty of towels and bedding. The pillows were a little flat for some of us but we were able to deal with that.

Overall great stay!

We checked in seemlessly and enjoyed our stay. We had an issue with a TV (we arent very tech savvy lol) and the owner came quickly and fixed it. The few recommendations we made (minor issues) the owneraddressing immediately.

House was ok. Was clean, but AC didn’t work and the house was hot the whole time. Owner did have a tech come out but wasn’t able to fix the unit. Hopefully it’s fixed for the next renters. House does need kitchen hand towels and we left an oven mitt for the next person if they decide to use the oven.

Toronto Blue Jays Trip with Family

There was 7 adults that stayed here and there was plenty of room and space for all. The price was very good. I have suggested a few recommendations to host to make it an even better rental home. Few household items that could be used but we made due as they were minor issues. A few upgrades need to be done like replacing of screen door, flooring and fresh coat of paint and it would be a perfect rental! Thanks Gerald

When we first arrived, the house had a strong smell of fish. We stayed 4 days and we never could totally mute the smell despite a lot of air freshener. The carpet was in bad shape and there was a dirty plate under the couch. The beds were average. It was ok for our needs as we were gone most of the days, but I would not book it again.

Nice size house with big yard but it had some quirks.

The house was very spacious and easy to find. Located close to anything we needed. Super easy check in and check out. Little to no check out tasks. Plenty of towels available and lots of sleeping space. But the house had some odd things. There were no trash bags in the bathrooms, some wet rags in the washer, a bathroom with no mirror or trash can, very little kitchen dishes, one of the couches had issues reclining, a closet door was falling off, the fans in room had to have the light on in order to work, older carpet so tacks are sticking out and the floors were very dirty.

It was okay. The fragrances and plug ins were a bit much. People with allergies and sensitivities might not like them. The smell was very strong. It was clean mostly clean, there was an old Bandaid on the stairs when we arrived.. the carpet wasn’t in the best condition. The fence in the backyard was pretty damaged on the back. If you have littles having a gate would have been helpful. I brought a pressure gate. But if there was on there already, that would have been nice. I Imagine littles would benefit from a playpen.

Great place for the price

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. It had a lovely large backyard and the property auze was suited to our large family. The owner was fairly quick with communication and we did not encoubter any major issues that needed addressed. To be a 5 star, I'd suggest the following:1) Hand towels more acceptable than paper towel rolls in thr bathrooms. I realize hand towels were available but the house was set up in such a way that indixated we were to use the paper towels instead. 2) The kitchen could use an extra sponge or scrubby brush for dish washing.3) The main floor had some crumbs and dust around edges upon arrival that could have been a little spruced up. It didnt seem "dirty" persay but not the cleanest property we've encountered in our travels.Overall it was a great space to accommodate our budget vacation.

Clean home, everything as pictured/described. The host was responsive and helpful during our stay. We had a great time! Especially appreciated the large common area and kitchen for food prep, meals, and spending time together.The only quirk was we received the check in directions the day of check in, and VRBO had sent several emails saying to expect the directions 3 days before check in- this seemed to be more of a VRBO administrative issue, but definitely caused some confusion.

We booked this to accommodate our family and grandparents. The pictures are definitely deceiving. The property isn't maintained as it shows. The carpets on the stairs are torn in multiple places causing tripping hazards. There is paint chipping and holes on majority of the walls. It wasn't clean when we arrived. The "stocked" kitchen isn't stocked at all! There wasn't enough silverware for even 5 people, the cups that were there were dirty and not enough plates and bowls. There was 1 usable pan, 1 mixing bowl and the sheet pans that were there were covered in rust and food particles. There was trash found in the cabinets and dirt and food particles in drawers. There weren't enough towels. The garage wasn't able to be used, as the door didn't even open. Both the recliner and the reclining couch were broken. The living room TV didnt have anything connected to be able to use it, no streaming or even local channels, we had to hook up our laptop to be able to watch anything. The only bathroom in the main area didn't have any mirror. The only thing that is house provided was enough space for everyone and decent location to multiple things in the city. We were very disappointed in the upkeep of the property as well as what should be standard in properties that are offering "stocked" kitchens and living spaces that should have functioning seating.

The property was clean. The bathrooms were updated. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it looked nice. Most of the flooring was great. Closets and stairs had old carpet. Owner friendly and responsive.
