I’m very disappointed with my recent stay. On the first full day, I spoke with the manager in the afternoon about several concerns. She told me she would apply a discount and call me back within the hour. I never received a call. Around 6:00 PM, I followed up with the front desk, and they seemed surprised that she hadn’t contacted me. The staff member said he would text her and that she would call me from her personal phone. She never followed up.
Beyond the lack of communication, there were several facility issues. The bathroom sink in our room would not drain properly. The breakfast drink machines were out of service for the entire stay and were never replaced with any alternative options. When I asked about drinks, I was directed to a bucket of water in the main lobby. That was the only option available. At a minimum, the hotel could have gone to a store and purchased something simple like orange juice for guests rather than offering no real beverage options.
Additionally, the hotel’s phone recording advertises a heated pool, but the pool was far from heated. It was extremely cold, more like a cold plunge than a heated pool.
Between the unresolved maintenance issues and the lack of follow-through from management, this was a very frustrating experience.
Unfortunately, based on this stay, I would not recommend staying here!
