We stayed at this property during a wedding we were attending. This place had everything we needed. Very clean, quiet, and relaxing. We Ubered everywhere which was not badly priced. The morning view of the river was amazing. We stay here again if available.

Beautiful Condo

This unit has beautiful sunrise views over the intracostal. Well furnished and has everything you need for a stay. Close to everything by car but a very relaxing setting. Just a short drive to the causeway to Oceanside and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. We have stayed in this complex before but found this unit to be the best.

1st Vrbo Rental - Some kinks to work out after remodel

We found no kitchen trash can or ice upon arrival, but the hostess did quickly remedy the problem. There was no working dishwasher, no hair dryer, and no kitchen sink stopper for use during our visit. There was a limited supply of both towels and toilet paper in the bathrooms. We did find some towels in the dryer as we were leaving. We had no cold water in one bathroom sink. The kitchen is a little sparsely stocked compared to any Vrbo units that we have ever stayed. We have rented at The Conquistadors a few times. Surprised we didn’t have salt and pepper or wine glasses in the unit. Also, there are no bar stools as pictured in the listing. But the view is outstanding from this 2nd floor unit! However, it has no ceiling fans or comfortable seating on the porch, so we did not use it much. Upon our return home, I learned we were actually their first rental which explains some of these issues especially after a remodel. Also, I was informed they have furniture ordered for the porch which will be nice. I must mention that the pool area was great! It was very well landscaped and maintained. The spotless pool is 4-8 feet deep, and the water was very clean!!

Overall it was a nice stay

Overall, we had a wonderful time here and a fantastic stay. The Shores are no strangers to us; we've stayed here longer than that before. The condo was clean, well-maintained, and nicely furnished. Karmal is a good host who responds quickly to questions and finds quick and uncomplicated solutions. We would have liked to have had a few more everyday items available for our stay, such as umbrellas, a cooler, beach towels for our stays at the beach, or a few more dishes, pots, and pans, which would have been nice, since my partner likes to cook herself. Nevertheless, we can recommend Karmal and the accommodation. Thank you very much!
