When visiting Newfoundland, drive the western shore all the way north to St. Anthony. Here you'll find the Grenfall Heritage Hotel, a perfect place to stay. We were delighted to see that our "family suite" had a large living room, dining table, and a door to a deck for views of the water and sunsets. An efficient kitchen has plenty of counter space and a pass through to the dining room table. There are two large closets with many hangers, one in the entry way and one in a hallway between the bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom has end tables and lamps on both sides of the bed. A continental breakfast is served in a sunny room at no extra charge.

Centrally located with historic significance

Well positioned in St Anthony. This originally was the nurses residence for the Grenfell hospital. The units are well equipped with kitchen facilities and breakfast is included. There is a grocery store in walking distance. The Grenfell Museum is a must see and is two minutes away. Enjoyed chatting with staff who gave insight and history into the community.

Our room ended up being a kitchen unit which was lovely, however a very strong lingering odor of fried food from a previous guest was nauseating. Other than that, our stay was great!

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful about the local area, suggesting places to eat/visit etc. Room was large and very clean, bed a little soft for us. Downside was you can hear anyone upstairs walking around. Breakfast was basic but fine. Handy having a laundry on-site.
