we stayed when it was 35 - 40 degrees Celsius and they have no air conditioning. They did offer us a fan. The closest restaurant we found was 10 - 15 min walk away. We went for the museum which is close enough to walk and it was excellent.

Convenient location, our stay was great

We stayed in this hotel for our trip to the holiday park and the Technik museum. The hotel is conveniently located, close to both attractions, and the cathedral and the city center are within walking distance. During our stay, there was a street festival with roller coasters, food, drinks, and music right next to us, which was interesting for our kids to look at. There was plenty of parking, breakfast was good with many options, room was comfortable, staff was very friendly. Upon request, a baby crib was brought to our room within minutes. Our small kids played happily in the play area next to the reception when we needed to wait. We are very happy with our short one night stay here.

Lage des Hotels lag für unser Wochenende genau richtig, zwischen Dom und Technischem Museum, sodass wir alles gut zu Fuß erreichen konnten. Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstücksbuffet für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie gut. Leider gab es nur eine Kaffeemaschine, an der es bei stärkerer Auslastung zu Wartezeiten kommen ist. Das Zimmer, Doppelzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, war für zwei Nächte ausreichend. Beleuchtung im Bad und Zimmer könnte großzügiger sein. Die Betten empfand ich relativ schmal, (keine Queen Breite); die Matratze inklusive Topper war angenehm fest. Dem Teppich hat man sein Alter angesehen. Dusche und Bad ist eher was für schlanke Menschen. Parkplatz ist am Hotel vorhanden, durch ungenügende Markierungen wird ggf. Parkraum nicht effektiv genutzt.

Man merkt nun mal dass das Hotel nicht mehr ganz neu ist (Vonwegen Zustand). Alle Angestellten sind aber sehr freundlich uns zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück hat eine grosse Auswahl und ist lecker. Die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. Ein Verstaubter Seifenspender zb. ist etwas zweifelhaft. Für unseren Zweck (Nähe zur Veranstaltung im Domgarten) war das Hotel perfekt.

Wir waren nun schon zum 3. Mal in einem Ibis-Hotel und wurden auch hier mit einem ganz tollen Frühstücksangebot verwöhnt, wirklich sehr gut 👍. Zimmer sind funktionell eingerichtet, ein Kleiderschrank und ein Safe wären von Vorteil. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption und die Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
