Fort William is just 10.5 miles away, offering an abundance of independent stores and cafés to peruse. Ben Nevis sits on the outskirts of town (11 miles). As the highest mountain in Scotland, this impressive summit is a must for adventure-ready hikers and bikers. A little further still, make your way to the vast Cairngorms National Park (24 miles), a destination for forest hikes, mountain biking, skiing and endless wildlife spotting.
