Don’t expect to chose your £25 breakfast!
Dinner lovely - had the veggie burger Breakfast very challenging “Cooked to order” actually means ‘you get a full English whether you want one or not’ I was actually asked “did you know you wanted a veggie breakfast last night, if yes why didn’t you tell someone’ I asked for beans mushroom and toast and was told “I’ll take the bacon and sausage off and you can eat what’s left” Not good enough! And not suitable to chastise the guest for not wanting the forced upon us breakfast choice. No cereal, just a chosen for you full English and a rude chef. Disappointing end to what, till then had been a lovely stay on a lovely location. Sad to say, we won’t return

Great 1 night stay, excellent food for our evening meal, I had the lovely Sea Bass with veg & potatoes & my wife had the scampi & chips, which she enjoyed very much. We left early so unfortunately never tried the breakfast. Room was clean & spacious, bed was comfortable. Staff & owners made us fell very welcome. Would stay again if we are down that way. Thank you.
