This was our first time staying here and we didn’t quite know what to expect but as soon as you walked in the front reception it was very nice! The main area was super clean and fresh, check in was quick and efficient. I do wish they had given us a little more information on what was offered on property. We had to ask where certain things were so I believe a little better communication would have been great:) Our room was very clean and nice and cool since it was quite hot out! We would have liked a couple of wine glasses to enjoy a drink but I guess not having them encourage people to go to the winery instead. The pool area was great and a good size super close to our room and very relaxing! The grounds were well kept and there was plenty to see. There was access to the beach unfortunately you had to go down ALOT of stairs so if you are planning on bringing chairs and a cooler or whatever else you like for a beach day be aware. Overall we would definitely go back!

Great stay. The beach access is a plus, and great to view the sunsets on lake Huron. Staff were very courteous, informative and very helpful, as my daughter had left her phone in the room, and after already checking out and on the road, returning to the Inn they graciously allowed us to retrieve it.

Spent a night here. Checkin was welcoming and helpful. Cosy lobby, our room a little dated but clean and well stocked; walls are thin but it is an older building. We ate at the restaurant on site for dinner and breakfast and both times food was delicious, service on point. Private beach access a 10 min. walk or you could drive. Steps are a bit steep to get down to the sand so if you have mobility issues, may be a bit of a challenge. Winery products also available for sale if you want to take a souvenir home. Pool was still closed for the season but I can see this as a bonus amenity in the heat of the summer. Overall, I would come back to this property. Thank you for the staff in giving us a positive experience.

A Beautiful Family Owned Resort

We spent two nights and three days at this beautiful Inn. Our dinner was beyond amazing, the accommodations were great, and the staff were incredible. It is such a great place to experience, especially when operated and owned by local people! We definitely will be returning often.

Quite Disappointing

It was comfortable enough but not for the price they charge. It seems they have spent their money on the winery instead of the hotel. Needs to be updated especially the bathrooms. The toilet is still the really low, round toilets, haven't seen one of those in 20 years. Also quite noisy. We could hear the people talking in the next room and some patrons were partying in the hall. My husband had to go out at 11:00 to ask them to quiet down.
