Located on the 1st floor with stair access, this coastal retreat has many original features, including an open fire and large chandeliers complimented by fully renovated modern bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms. Our three-bedroom apartment offers not just a stay but an immersive experience, combining the tranquillity of coastal living with proximity to lively attractions. The spacious living room is adorned with comfortable seating, a working open fire, and a balcony offering breathtaking views of the estuary and the world's longest pleasure pier.
Modernised for convenience, the kitchen boasts built-in appliances, including an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, and induction hob. We've stocked it with all the essentials, ensuring you travel light yet have everything you need for culinary adventures.
There are three bedrooms. The main bedroom features an XL king-size bed with an en suite bathroom and mood lighting, inviting you to relax in the bath with a sea view. A second balcony off the main bedroom provides a stunning vantage point. The second and third bedroom comes with one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed.
A laundry area with a washing machine and a second bathroom with a large shower cater to your practical needs.
Designed with families in mind, Sandy Steps provides a welcoming environment with toys, board games, and beach accessories. We have a highchair, stairgate, and travel cot for the little ones.
The bathroom contains all the essentials; clean towels and complimentary toiletries will also be provided for your convenience.
The apartment is always professionally cleaned for your comfort.

The property is accessed through a gate and up a flight of steps. There is a porch with two doors. Please note that there is no access to a garden or back door. This exit is a fire exit only.
I live close by and am happy to help whenever I'm around, but when I'm not, there is a 24/7 on-call concierge service that can assist you any time of the day.

London Southend Airport is approximately 3 miles away (an 8-minute drive), and a regular bus route is available with a bus stop just across the road. There is also an open-top tour bus available from the pier.
This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (3 p.m.).
Also, we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). There may be an additional cost to replace the locks for security purposes. So, please keep your keys safe.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a minimum of £300 for the smoking fee.
We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity, we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without a refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).
