We were there for a four day dog show in Blackfoot. The inconvenience of the parking lot was a problem the second day. But we managed. I just had a RTKR and the frig in the room didn’t have a freezer section. I needed to ice pack my knee each night. Didn’t happen I used the packs as cold as the frig would get them. The toilet was so low it was hard to get up and down to use it. I asked for handicap room. You’d think the toilets in those rooms would be higher. I call them adult toilets. All in all it was a good stay.

My room was nice and clean however it was one of my worst experiences I've ever had. It started upon arrival when there was literally nowhere for me to park. They were redoing a part of the parking lot and when I went into the front desk and said there were no available parking spaces I was told that I could park at the Best Western across the street. I asked if I could unload my luggage first and was told that I couldn't block the entrance and so I expressed concerns about having to carry all of our luggage across the street in the dark. I was told that I could park behind the hotel in a restaurant parking lot but I might get towed. They told me I would get a discount on my room for my trouble which they didn't actually give me. Then after getting settled in our room and in bed asleep we received a call from the front desk at 12:30 saying that they had received 2 noise complaints from our room and if they received another they would have to come up and see what was going on. I told them it was just me and my daughter and we were in bed and not making any noise. They were rude and acted like they didn't believe us. I went back to bed and then was woken up again in about 20 minutes with a call to apologize and say it was the room next to ours that was making all of the noise. Why would they call back at this time of night and why would they call at all before coming up and checking out the situation themselves? I was completely unimpressed with the way we we treated!

I chose this hotel based on the reviews and it was very average. The cleanliness of my room was an issue. The toilet was not clean and had urine and hair on it when I arrived. Which made me wonder if the sheets had been changed. The breakfast buffet was a messy zoo, but the food was decent. Also, 3/4 of the parking lot was closed so I had to haul bags from the hotel across the street. I would not stay here again.

I have stayed at this location several times. However this time the staff did not inform me that over half the parking was being serviced. I had to park in the dark and walk around the hotel to get in. Not safe! When I complained the front desk didn’t care. I will not stay here again.
