From the moment you arrive, you'll feel right at home in this cozy 4BR mountain retreat while enjoying over 4,000 square feet of luxury and fun. A private hot tub and a 1,000-square-foot game room with pool table, foosball, shuffleboard, air hockey, TVs in every room, hundreds of DVDs, and a slew of board games mean you may never want to leave.

This home cannot host more than 8 people over the age of 5. This applies 24/7.

The expansive living area is perfect for cozying up to watch a movie or simply unwind from a day on the mountain. The beautiful stone-encased wood-burning fireplace will surely keep everyone toasty. The rustic dining table comfortably seats 10. In the kitchen you'll find a center island with Viking range and 3 bar stools, as well as a breakfast nook that seats 3.

The master suite is off the main living area with a luxurious bathroom complete with jetted soaker tub, large glass-enclosed shower, and dual sinks. On the mid level you'll find three bedrooms, the laundry room, and a second living room with television, wet bar, shuffleboard & a door to the lower level deck. The lower level features the 1,000 sq. ft. game room — play pool, foosball, air hockey! Watch TV on the small sofa with a pullout twin sleeper. The lower level also includes a full bath and access to the private hot tub and fenced-in backyard.

Great family vacation home

We were in town for the long weekend for our teenagers basketball tournament. Perfect location from the various venues. We were also about 10min from the casinos. The highlights of the stay was the game room, the serene location and the fully equipped kitchen. As we were leaving the kids were already asking when we could return. That is the true sign of a good vacation

The property was perfect for my family to stay at. A lot of space and it was very clean. The game room was a huge hit for my family we all enjoyed it so much. Area is great, a nice quiet neighborhood and close to everything.We will definitely stay there again. The Property manager is #1 very good

Black Bear Villa

Black Bear Villa property is a beautiful property nestled in the forest of South Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed our stay there and especially enjoyed the large spacious areas and the game room. We strongly recommend this property and would gladly stay there again.

Very Comfortable Stay at Black Bear Villa

We had an amazing stay at the Black Bear Villa in South Lake Tahoe! Our group of 9 found the house to be perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The villa was spotlessly clean upon our arrival, which made us feel right at home. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, adding to the overall convenience of our stay. We did encounter a minor issue with the garbage disposal, but the team at RnR was fantastic—they came out within a few hours and fixed everything. Their prompt and efficient service was much appreciated. We loved our stay so much that we're already planning to come back, hopefully during the winter months to experience the area in a different season. We highly recommend the Black Bear Villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in South Lake Tahoe!

Great house/Love Tahoe

The area is beautiful and the weather is great. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting outside in the morning enjoying the weather. We are from Texas, and it will be boiling hot soon so the cold mornings were a welcome retreat. The kids enjoyed the game room at the house, and the house fit 10 of us comfortably. We were on alert for bears, so we tried to follow the directions for the garbage to a T. The house is minutes away from a grocery store and eateries, coffee shops. Also any beach you would like to try is within driving distance.

This large house was perfect for our family group. There were plenty of bathrooms. Our younger kids did not feel comfortable to sleep in the bunk beds. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen, towels and extra blankets. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Gates family trip

Overall we had a great time and loved the villa. We were hoping for snow like last year but Mother Nature didn’t comply. On our last night, the bedroom with the adjoining bathroom on 2nd floor had some type of very loud humming which seemed to be in the ceiling. It would hum for about a minute and stop, then start again every 3 minutes until morning. That was the only room you could hear it in and that was the only night it occurred. Other than that we all had a great time and are talking about booking it again next year.

Loved Black Bear Villa!!

Sertting was beautiful. House was beautiful and as advertised. Floor plan made communal gathering fun and privacy available when needed. We loved the well-equiped kitchen and great room. Really enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Everyone had a great time. We highly recommend this property!

Wonderful, well-decorated home; great for groups

The house is beautiful! The bear decorations everywhere are a nice touch, and our group loved that the hot tub went up to 104 degrees. The open kitchen/living room on the top floor was a great central spot for our group, the game room was a great place to hang, and the house had a huge selection of DVDs to pick from. Would happily stay there again! My only note is that the air hockey puck needs to be replaced - it's too light and flies all over the place. Also there was a surprise early morning drop-in from some window cleaners (but that was resolved easily with the owner's on-call line). Great, well-maintained house!

Beautiful spacious and clean home!!!! Accommodations for a family of 12 was perfect!!!! The home had everything we could possibly need. The setback, they seriously need to replace the refrigerator!!!!! We had to keep our perishables in the garage fridge. Which was a huge inconvenience!!!!

Great family rental!

Close to Heavenly ski resort. Our family really enjoyed this house! Plenty of room to spread out and it had an awesome game room that we all enjoyed! We had a wonderful vacation staying in this house! Loved the hot tub after a day on the slopes! Well stocked kitchen and very clean!

Amazing house

House was perfect for Thanksgiving. We all had room and for the week the weather was perfect. I got the high score on pinball just over 7 million and we had the best time seeing the sights of South Lake Tahoe. The house was amazing and so much room. The game room was perfect for the kids and kitchen was great for cooking. The couch upstairs was losing feathers and the water pressure is low but other thank that it was great.
